Apple Dave's handcrafted 1840's style Apple Jack
Enjoy a traditional spirit handcrafted by the farmer himself right here at Apple Dave's Orchard. Our Apple Jack is crafted using freeze-distillation just like it was done in the old days. This results in a very pleasant spirit with a smooth finish, great for any fall cocktail.

Apple Jack, The 1840's way
Before modern stills, early American farmers made Apple Jack by leaving hard cider to freeze through the winter, then removing the ice and concentrating what remained. This traditional process, known as freeze distillation or also called “jacking”, intensifies the alcohol along with the cider’s natural apple character, creating a richer, bolder spirit with a smooth finish. Our 1840s-style Apple Jack draws on that old farm tradition just using some slightly more modern techniques to create a drink enjoyed by farmers and their friends for generations.
