A Message from the Farmer
Mother Nature gave apple farmers some ‘tough love’ this year! From Virginia to Albany farmers lost most or all of their apples in a deep freeze in April 2026.
But farmers are tough – and we grow from our challenges! Apple Dave’s has done this since 1949 – and it helps us focus on making the whole farm experience more fun!
We will have live music, wagon rides, nature trails, face painting, puppet making, and of course, lots of great food. Pick-your-own pumpkins will start early this year, and we will have plenty of New York apples in bags and in picking bins. We gave the farm store a make-over this summer! It now offers an even better selection of pies, donuts, jellies and jams, fun gifts and great local produce. We look forward to having you back.
As Apple Dave put it – this is “where Wonderful Memories Are Made”!
Admission is $5 per person on weekends - free on non-holiday weekdays.
If you wish to pick apples you buy a picking bag at the farm store.
A half peck bag of apples is $15, and a peck bag of apples is $30.
Babycarrier babies and pups are welcome. No wagons or strollers in the orchard.
Guests must remain on our property during their visit. No Uber, Taxi or bus drop-offs.
No outside food or drinks.
When you arrive, follow the green direction signs and stay to the left at the fork in the driveway. Continue until you see the big red barn.
Park in our lot (no parking fee) and enter at our gate.
Admission is $5 per person during harvest season weekends.
Admission is free on weekdays or on rainy weekends.
Visit our Market to purchase a bag of apples, enjoy a wagon ride or walk through the orchard and visit our pumpkin patch.
Apple and Pumpkin sales are cash only. Our Barn Store, Kitchen and Distillery all accept credit cards and an ATM is available.
After enjoying the scenery, pick up some fresh cider donuts and great food from our kitchen. New this year is a brand new Pizza Oven offering fresh pizza for our visitors. Cocktails and local craft beers at our Farm Distillery provide a wonderful way for adults to relax and enjoy the country experience.
We have bountiful space, so bring a blanket or enjoy our picnic tables and walking trails around the pond and fields. We have great live music every weekend.
Apple Dave's has been offering fall family fun in Warwick, NY since 1975. We look forward to seeing families return each year to continue their tradition of enjoying the magic of an apple orchard in the fall.

Apple Dave’s family purchased 130 acres of land in the Warwick Valley in 1949. Beginning in 1950, David began planting apple trees on the property. The first trees planted can still be found today right behind the Farmhouse. The trees began to produce fruit in 1955 and In the fall of 1975, Apple Dave started the Pick-Your-Own business. In 2014 Dave's son Peter opened Apple Dave's Distillery, where to this day we make 1840's style freeze distilled Apple Jack.
