Frequently Asked Questions

Are dogs allowed at the Distillery?
Yes, dogs are allowed at our Distillery if they are well behaved and kept on a leash at all times. They must be good around other dogs and people.
When do you open your orchard for apple picking?
We open our orchard for Apple Picking on Labor Day weekend each fall.
Are buses allowed?
We do not EVER allow buses on weekends or holidays.  Please contact us in advance if you are planning to travel with a group.
What type of apples do you sell?
We have a wide assortment of apples available for picking and some varities for sale at our shop. Check out our apple variety guide.
Do you have food available?
Yes, we have a pretty capable kitchen in our red barn, serving hot and cold food, cider donuts, and beverages.
Do you have restrooms?
Yes. But be warned,  during the apple season rush in September and October we resort to port-a-johns just like everyone else ;-).
Where do I park for picking apples?
Parking is located past our Red Barn in our lower lot for apple pickers.
Do you allow commercial photography?
No commercial photography is allowed onsite without permission from the owners. Please contact us if you are interested in using the farm for commercial photography.

Apple Dave’s Orchards is an easy and scenic day trip from New York City, located in Warwick, NY—just about 60–75 minutes from Manhattan depending on traffic.
